Varna Stadium is a new football stadium which is going to be built on the place of the former Yuri Gagarin Stadium. The stadium will be used for football matches and will be the new home ground of the local Cherno More Varna. The stadium would be able to host Champions League and Europa League matches, because of the lack of suitable stadiums in Eastern Bulgaria. (The only stadium in Eastern Bulgaria which can host matches of European competitions is the Lazur Stadium in Burgas)
